Nebulingo stands on the shoulders of open language data. Here's who we thank — and the licences their work reaches you under.

1. Norwegian morphology — Norsk ordbank

Norwegian (Bokmål) word forms, inflection tables and grammatical gender are built on Norsk ordbank, © Nasjonalbiblioteket (the National Library of Norway), Språkrådet and the University of Bergen, distributed through Språkbanken under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. The data has been reformatted and filtered for use in Nebulingo.

2. Spanish & French morphology — Wiktionary

Spanish and French word forms, plurals and gender data are derived from Wiktionary, © Wikimedia Foundation contributors, available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) licence (dual-licensed with the GFDL). We obtained the data in machine-readable form via kaikki.org, produced with the open-source wiktextract tool (Tatu Ylonen: Wiktextract: Wiktionary as Machine-Readable Structured Data, LREC 2022). The data has been reformatted and filtered for use in Nebulingo.

3. Verb conjugations

Spanish and French verb conjugation tables were generated with the open-source verbecc conjugation library.
